Privacy Policy for ChatBro
Back to Home

Last updated: July 18, 2024

ChatBro is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use our web application.

Information Collection and Use

We do not collect any personally identifiable information from you when you use ChatBro. The app functions by allowing you to input phone numbers directly and initiate WhatsApp conversations without saving contacts. We do not store or transmit any phone numbers you enter to our servers. Recently used numbers are stored locally in your browser for your convenience and can be cleared at any time.

IP Address for Country Code Detection

To provide the automatic country code detection feature, ChatBro makes a request to a third-party IP lookup API (ipapi.co). This API may temporarily process your IP address to determine your geographical location and provide the corresponding country code. We do not store your IP address or any location data received from this service.

Advertising

ChatBro uses Google AdSense for monetization. AdSense may collect and use certain information (such as device identifiers, IP address, and location data) to serve personalized ads. For more information on how Google uses data, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.

Local Storage

We use your browser's local storage to save your recently used numbers and your default message preference. This data is stored locally on your device, is not transmitted to us or any third parties, and can be cleared by you.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
